The rooms at Hotel Goldene Sonne are absolutely charming. They have a discreetly elegant vibe that instantly made me feel at home. The views of Landshut's old town, Trausnitz Castle, and St Jodok Church from the rooms were breathtaking. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the regional German cuisine offered in their traditional Bavarian-style restaurant and beer garden.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the cable TV in the rooms. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I'm sure others might still enjoy it.

The restaurant was located within 700 feet.

The free WiFi was a lifesaver for us social media addicts. And let me tell you, the restaurant was the bomb! We stuffed ourselves silly with their delicious food. Plus, the children's playground was a blast. We felt like big kids again!

The only thing we wished for was a better nightlife scene. We were looking for some party-action, but it was a bit lacking.

As longer term business travellers, we loved the convenient location near the bus stop and restaurants, as well as the excellent staff who went above and beyond to accommodate us. the welcome we received was exceptional, with a room upgrade and even a charger loaned to us when ours stopped working. the hotel was well-maintained and clean, and the breakfast buffet was satisfactory.

Felt truly looked after, no complaints at all.

Great location in the city centre, with easy access to public transportation and nearby restaurants and cafes. Clean and well-equipped bathroom, with perfect WiFi throughout the hotel and beer garden. Great breakfast included in the price, and friendly staff who welcomed us and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
